BSUS BANGLADESH is a non-government organization engaged in social & economic development and Research activities in Bangladesh, which was established at the beginning of 2008 by Mises Sahara Begum with the aim of reducing poverty and ensure education, health and other potentials of life for poor and marginalized people in Bangladesh and in other countries, which obtained government registration in 2012 |

Monitoring:
BSUS has a strong monitoring & Evaluation team. BSUS take care of its Vision, Mission and core values. This development program is continually being monitored and evaluated to determine its progress and effectiveness, as well as to show where changes may be necessary. It is carried out in a participatory way with the participants.
Reporting:
BSUS maintain reporting system strictly. The field staffs submit their report on their activities to the area manager monthly. The Area Manager compiles it regularly and submits it to the higher authority. The reporting systems of BSUS are of 4 types such as – monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual.
(1)Training Program on Livelihood Development of Enclaves Women
There are 111 Enclaves have included with the mainland of Bangladesh. For a long time, the residents of the Enclaves people, especially women haven’t received any assistance from the government of Bangladesh or India. As a result, they are lagging behind in Education, Health, Nutrition, Sanitation and various other aspects. As all these Enclaves are now included in Bangladesh, if they can’t be involved in the various development activities, the overall development of the country will be hampered. With the aim of empowering women, the government is working hard to empower women through various trade-based trainings. As a result, women in enclaves become self-reliant through self-employment.
(2)Vulnerable group development (VGD)
[Making a difference to the extreme poor women in Bangladesh through a social safety net programme]
Vulnerable Group Development (VGD) is one of the largest safety net programmes assisted by the World Food Programme (WFP). It is targeted at poor and vulnerable women in Bangladesh. The ultimate goal of the programme is to bring sustainable improvement to the lives of ultra-poor BSUS is a selected NGO by Government has working and supporting government to achieve VGD science 2010 at various districts & Upazills.
(3)Lactating Mother & Mother Allowance Program
lBrief Description of the programme
• First 1,000 days for a child’s physical, social and cognitive development.
• Receive Tk800 in each month till 3yrs of age of the child.
• Provide Training on health, nutrition, social awareness etc.
• Operationalize a MIS integrated G2P monthly payment system based upon women’s preference.
• Linkage with health service providers for EPI, ANC and PNC.
• Implement an ongoing life-cycle based learning programme on Nutrition and Early Childhood Development.
• Contributes to create awareness on early screening .
• Encourage birth registration .
(4)Social forestry:
lsocial forestry have existed for centuries, it is constantly gaining a new dimension because of its benefits including its potential for tackling the challenges of global warming.
lFor this region, BSUS has planted 18 kilometers social forestry at Bhola– Barishal –Laxmipur– national high way by make a agreement with the Ministry of communication since2010.
(5)Disable support Project
The Ministry of Social Welfare largely helps the destitute and disadvantaged irrespective of religion, caste and gender. However, women, as the backward section of the society get priority in all the initiatives of the ministry. Moreover, Ministry of Social Welfare is working for securing rights and privileges of the autistic128 and disabled girl child through mass communication, autism awareness program, installation of disabled girl-child friendly structure in the educational institutions, extension of housing facilities for poor girl child at upazilla level and protection for the abused and orphan girl child.
lBSUS had provided autism awareness program, health and material support to the autistic people as a selected NGO by the Ministry of social Welfare, Government of Peoples Republic Bangladesh.
